Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend is a jazz song introduced by Carol Channing in the original Broadway production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), with music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Leo Robin. Marilyn Monroe's rendition of the song is considered as an iconic performance and was ranked the 12th best film song of the century by the American Film Institute.

2. These Boots Are Made For Walkin' by Nancy Sinatra
These Boots Are Made For Walkin' is a hit song written by Lee Hazlewood and recorded by American singer Nancy Sinatra. It charted on January 22, 1966 and reached No. 1 in the United States Billboard Hot 100 and in the UK Singles Chart. Nancy Sinatra's version of the song was released as a single in December 1965, as the second song to be taken from her debut album, Boots (1966), and was a follow-up to the minor hit "So Long, Babe".

3. Material Girl by Madonna
Material Girl is a song recorded by American singer Madonna for her second studio album Like a Virgin (1984). It was released as her second single from her Like a Virgin on November 30, 1984 on the Sire label. Material Girl consists of a synthesizer arrangement with robotic vocals that repeat the hook line of "living in a material world".The music video was inspired by Madonna's admiration of Marilyn Monroe and mimicked the latter's performance of the song "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" from the 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

Primadonna is a song by Welsh singer-songwriter Marina and the Diamonds from her second studio album, Electra Heart (2012). It was released on 20 March 2012 as the album's official lead single.

Venus is a song by Dutch rock band Shocking Blue, initially released as a single in the Netherlands in the summer of 1969. Written by Robbie van Leeuwen, the song topped the charts in nine countries. In 1981, it was used to open the "Stars on 45" medley.
